Meet Dr. Holz
Dr. Bruce Holz was born and
raised in New Jersey . He graduated from the Emory University School
of Dentistry in Atlanta , GA with his DDS degree in 1977. He moved
to South Florida in 1978, and began his practice in Broward County .
In 1980, he took a year off to sail the Caribbean with another
dentist. Aboard his 26 foot sailboat, they practiced dentistry for
the people they met along the way. He moved the office to its
present location in 1986. Lynda and Bruce married in 1984, and they
have two wonderful boys, David and Steven. David designed this
website as his summer project.
Dr. Holz is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida
Dental Association, the Broward County Dental Association, the
Pankey Alumni Association, and the International Congress of Oral
Implantologists. He is also a member of the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Holz loves learning. He completes approximately 150 hours per
year of continuing education. This is approximately ten times the
Florida requirement. He believes that incorporating the latest
knowledge and technology makes dentistry more fun and satisfying for
himself, the staff, and the patients. He is a member of the
Intracoastal Chapter of the Seattle Study Club. Once a year, Dr.
Holz attends a week of intense study at the L.D. Pankey Institute
for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Holz and his staff believe in exceptional, quality dentistry,
and personalized service. His gentle touch, and his up to date
knowledge, provide his patients with the finest dental care
